Classic Macaroni Green Pea Salad
My grandmother always made this. It’s definitely a classic go to summer salad.
Ingredients
- 1-8oz box of elbow macaroni
- 1/2 cup diced celery
- 2 tsp white vinegar
- 1/2 tsp coarse sea or kosher salt
- 1/2-1 tsp prepared yellow mustard
- 1/2- 3/4 cup miracle whip
- 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
- 1/2-3/4 cup frozen green peas, thawed slightly
Instructions
1. Cook macaroni as indicated on package. Drain and rinse under cold water. Drain again.
2. In a large mixing bowl, combine all other ingredients except peas.
3.When completely combined, gently fold in peas to dressing mixture, leaving out a few for garnish.
4. Top with remaing peas and a bit more dill for garnish. Enjoy!
