Classic Macaroni Green Pea Salad

 My grandmother always made this. It’s definitely a classic go to summer salad.

Ingredients

  • 1-8oz box of elbow macaroni 
  • 1/2 cup diced celery 
  • 2 tsp white vinegar 
  • 1/2 tsp coarse sea or kosher salt
  • 1/2-1 tsp prepared yellow mustard
  • 1/2- 3/4 cup miracle whip
  • 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1/2-3/4 cup frozen green peas, thawed slightly

Instructions

  1. 1. Cook macaroni as indicated on package. Drain and rinse under cold water. Drain again.

    2. In a large mixing bowl, combine all other ingredients except peas. 

    3.When completely combined, gently fold in peas to dressing mixture, leaving out a few for garnish. 

    4. Top with remaing peas and a bit more dill for garnish. Enjoy!
